Plages
Plage de la Garoupe is the most celebrated beach on Cap d'Antibes and one of the most storied stretches of sand on the French Riviera. Nestled in a sheltered cove on the eastern side of the peninsula, its fine golden sand and crystal-clear turquoise water have drawn the world's elite since the 1920s, when Gerald and Sara Murphy convinced the Hotel du Cap to keep its doors open during summer and effectively invented the Riviera beach holiday.
Plage de la Salis
Plage de la Salis is the gateway beach to Cap d'Antibes, a long crescent of sand stretching from the old ramparts of Antibes southward toward the peninsula. It offers one of the most spectacular panoramas on the coast: to the north, the medieval towers of Antibes backed by the snow-capped Alps; to the south, the pine-covered slopes of Cap d'Antibes rising from the sea.
Plage des Ondes
Plage des Ondes is a hidden gem on the western coast of Cap d'Antibes, a small sandy cove facing the Iles de Lerins and the Esterel mountains. Far less crowded than the Garoupe, this intimate beach offers a quieter, more local atmosphere while maintaining the same exceptional water clarity.
Plage du Crouton
Plage du Crouton is a long, sandy beach stretching along the western side of Cap d'Antibes near Juan-les-Pins. Less dramatic than the rocky coves of the southern Cap, it compensates with easy access, gentle waves, and a relaxed atmosphere. The beach is popular with local families and offers a more authentic, everyday beach experience away from the luxury beach clubs.
Plage Keller
Plage Keller is the most legendary private beach on Cap d'Antibes and arguably the most exclusive stretch of sand on the French Riviera. Operated by the Giotti-Keller family since the 1940s, this intimate beach club occupies a prime section of Plage de la Garoupe and has hosted virtually every major figure to visit the Cap over the past eight decades.
Baie des Milliardaires
The Baie des Milliardaires — Billionaires' Bay — is the most exclusive stretch of coastline on Cap d'Antibes, a series of rocky coves and small beaches along the eastern shore that take their name from the concentration of extraordinary wealth along the waterfront. The villas that line this coast, invisible behind high walls and dense vegetation, include some of the most valuable residential properties in the world.
Plage de la Garoupe Publique
The public section of Plage de la Garoupe offers the same stunning setting as the private beach clubs — golden sand, turquoise water, and views toward Antibes and the Alps — without any cost. This free-access section occupies the northern portion of the Garoupe bay and provides an egalitarian counterpart to the exclusive clubs that line the southern section.
