Maison de Bacon is a Cap d'Antibes institution, a family-run seafood restaurant that has been serving bouillabaisse and fresh fish on the waterfront since 1948. Located at the very beginning of the Cap on Boulevard de Bacon, with a panoramic terrace overlooking the Baie des Anges, it is considered by many to serve the finest bouillabaisse on the entire Cote d'Azur.
The restaurant's bouillabaisse is prepared in the traditional manner: a rich, saffron-scented fish broth served first as a soup with rouille and croutons, followed by the whole fish presented on a platter. The fish is sourced daily from local fishermen and the preparation is uncompromising. Beyond the bouillabaisse, the menu offers a full range of grilled fish, shellfish platters, and Mediterranean classics.
The terrace is the star of the show, with one of the finest sea views in the region. On clear days, the panorama extends from Nice and the Baie des Anges to the distant peaks of the Mercantour. The restaurant has maintained its family character across three generations, and the welcome is warm and genuine.
