Port de l'Olivette is the most photographed spot on Cap d'Antibes: a tiny harbor tucked into the western shoreline where colorful pointu fishing boats bob in water so clear it seems to glow. This miniature port shelters around fifty traditional wooden boats, a living link to the fishing heritage that defined this coast before tourism arrived.
The harbor is managed by the Association for Defense and Management of l'Olivette, which maintains a strict rule that only wooden boats may moor here. This policy preserves the visual charm that draws photographers and painters from around the world.
Besides the photographic opportunities, a small pebble and sand beach curves around the cove, offering a pleasant swim spot. The port is directly accessible from the Sentier du Littoral coastal path and by car via Boulevard du Marechal Juin.
